GENERAL NOTES

Located in a secure villa, the loft offers exclusive and private use, providing tranquility and privacy in one of the most desirable areas of Rio de Janeiro. The Ipanema neighborhood is renowned for its charm and excellent infrastructure, featuring supermarkets, pharmacies, bakeries, restaurants, and cafés that make everyday life even more pleasant. Additionally, for greater convenience, there are several nearby laundries that operate as self-service or delivery.

Within a few minutes walk from the loft, you can access both Ipanema Beach and Copacabana Beach, two of the world’s most famous landmarks, as well as nearby transportation points, squares, and local fairs. The welcoming atmosphere, privileged location, and style of the space make it the ideal choice for those seeking practicality without compromising comfort.

The accommodation is designed to host up to two guests, offering a compact, modern, and functional environment, perfect for short or longer stays. Ideal for couples or solo travelers who wish to experience an authentic carioca lifestyle, the space provides complete privacy for moments of rest after exploring the city.

The reservation guarantees exclusive and private use of the space. For security reasons and in compliance with LGPD, we require all guests to be identified in advance. It is important to note that children and pets are not allowed in this property, ensuring the environment remains suitable for guests seeking tranquility and practicality.

SERVICES AND FEATURES

Our team is available daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. to provide support, information, and local tips. Access to the loft is secured through a key kept in a safe protected by a password, which is sent at 1 p.m. on the day of arrival — please ensure you are connected to the Internet to receive it.

We offer the option to pay in up to 12 installments with interest to facilitate your booking. Yes Temporada also operates as a travel agency, providing service to leisure tourists, corporate guests, and companies, with invoicing available when necessary. For your comfort, we provide complimentary bed and bath linen changes every seven days upon request. Our support point in Copacabana (Rua Constante Ramos, 43, Store A) offers luggage storage at no additional cost.

The compact kitchen is fully equipped to meet your needs, including a microwave, coffee maker, and basic utensils, allowing you to prepare quick meals or a relaxed breakfast without leaving the loft. Additionally, we provide high-quality bed and bath linens, ensuring convenience and comfort throughout your stay.

The loft also features air conditioning and high-speed Wi-Fi, offering autonomy and ease. This space was designed for those seeking practicality without sacrificing comfort, making it ideal for couples or solo travelers who want to enjoy Ipanema with tranquility and style.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

Check-in can be done in person, always between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM.

The access code to the safe containing the loft key will be sent at 1:00 PM on the day of arrival.

For greater security and to authorize access to the loft, we request that the documents (with photo) of all guests be sent at least 48 hours before check-in (in accordance with LGPD).

Check-out must be completed by 12:00 PM, with the possibility of late check-out upon prior request.

HISTORY OF IPANEMA

The history of Ipanema began at the end of the 19th century, when the area was still composed of dunes and sparsely populated land. In 1894, the Baron of Ipanema, José Antônio Moreira Filho, started the process of urbanization by subdividing the land and attracting families to live in the then-new neighborhood, which quickly became known for its tranquility and proximity to the sea.

The name “Ipanema” has indigenous origins and means “bad water” or “river without fish,” referring to a river in the state of São Paulo. Interestingly, in Rio de Janeiro, the term gained a new meaning, associated with the beauty of the beach and the relaxed, elegant lifestyle of the area.

From the 1950s onward, Ipanema began to establish itself as a cultural and bohemian hub. Its bars, cafés, and theaters became gathering places for intellectuals, artists, musicians, and writers. It was in this context that the famous bossa nova emerged, with Tom Jobim and Vinícius de Moraes immortalizing the neighborhood in the song “The Girl from Ipanema” (1962), which traveled the world and helped make the neighborhood synonymous with Carioca charm.

General Osório Station (Line 1 and Line 4), located just a few minutes’ walk away, connects Ipanema directly to downtown Rio, the northern zone, and neighborhoods such as Copacabana, Botafogo, Flamengo, Leblon, and Barra da Tijuca. Nossa Senhora da Paz Station, also in Ipanema, facilitates access to local commerce and nightlife, making it ideal for exploring the neighborhood comfortably.

Buses are another practical option: several lines pass through the area, allowing trips to famous tourist attractions such as Sugarloaf Mountain, Christ the Redeemer (via Cosme Velho), Lapa, the Botanical Garden, Parque Lage, and even other coastal neighborhoods.
