CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
The standard check-in time is 2 PM. Early check-in from 9 AM is possible at no extra charge, provided there are no guests departing on the same day. Please inform us of your arrival time in advance so we can ensure everything is prepared for you.
Key handover is done in person and includes a full orientation of the property. Important: arrivals after 8 PM require prior confirmation. Secure parking is available for multiple vehicles.
The standard check-out time is 12 PM. You may request a late check-out until 3 PM at no additional cost, subject to availability and if no new guests are arriving.
Please return the keys as instructed, disconnect all equipment, and leave the property tidy. If you need to leave before collecting all your luggage, you may store it safely at our base in Copacabana (Constante Ramos Street, 43, Loja A) and pick it up later.
All guests must send a valid ID up to 72 hours before arrival — your data is protected under the General Data Protection Law (LGPD).
Everyone entering the property must identify themselves at the entrance for everyone’s safety. Please observe quiet hours from 8 PM to 8 AM so the surroundings may rest as well.
Children are welcome, and a crib is available for babies under 2 years old. Pets are allowed with prior notice regarding size and type. Events or parties with excessive noise are not permitted.

Cosme Velho is one of the oldest and most emblematic neighborhoods in Rio de Janeiro, with a history that spans centuries and is still reflected in its quiet streets, preserved architecture, and almost cinematic ambiance. Nestled at the base of Corcovado Mountain, between the Atlantic Forest and historic estates, the neighborhood began in the colonial period as an agricultural area filled with large farms and plantations that supplied the former capital with fruits and tropical products.
The name "Cosme Velho" comes from a historical figure who was one of the earliest landowners in the region during the initial years of colonization, though little is recorded about him. Cosme Velho and Rua Itamonte offer excellent public transportation options. The accommodation is conveniently located near the Cosme Velho Bus Terminal, where several bus lines are available. Bus line 165 provides direct service to Terminal Gentileza and Laranjeiras. Other routes, such as 422 (Grajaú to Cosme Velho), connect you to Downtown and Tijuca. For travel to the South Zone, including Copacabana or Leblon, lines 583 and 584 (Cosme Velho to Leblon) are great choices.
Traditional taxis are available nearby, and ride-hailing apps such as Uber and 99 provide modern, convenient service with upfront pricing for faster trips.
If you are arriving by car, the property offers a secure garage that accommodates up to four vehicles.
Although the property is not next to a metro station, the neighborhood has easy access to Largo do Machado Station by ride-hailing apps, taxis, or bus lines.
