IMPORTANT NOTES

The apartment is located on Rua Farani, a busy street with excellent mobility, which may result in some typical city noise.

Please respect the quiet hours from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

Smoking and hosting events or parties of any kind are not allowed inside the property.

Pets are not permitted in this accommodation.

LUGGAGE, CRIB, AND BEACH CHAIRS

Standard check-in from 2:00 PM, with free early entry possible from 9:00 AM if there is no departure from another guest on the same day.

Standard check-out is by 12:00 PM, which can be extended free of charge until 3:00 PM if there is no new reservation for that day.

We provide a portable crib for babies and beach chairs as a courtesy, upon advance request at least one day prior.

HOUSEKEEPING

Includes professional cleaning service and weekly linen change for stays of 7 nights or more, upon prior request. Additional cleanings can be arranged for an extra fee.

ABOUT THE NEIGHBORHOOD

History and Trivia: Botafogo is one of the most iconic neighborhoods in Rio’s South Zone, with a history deeply intertwined with the city's development. The name Botafogo dates back to 1590, when the Portuguese nobleman João Pereira de Sousa Botafogo was appointed head of defense for Guanabara Bay. As recognition for his services, he received a land grant in the area, which became known as "Praia do Botafogo." In the 19th century, the neighborhood became a favorite address of the nobility and coffee elite, who built grand mansions and estates—many of which are preserved today and now serve as historical landmarks and cultural centers. Rua Farani, where the property is located, has an interesting origin: it was named in honor of the Farani brothers, Domenico and Cesare, Italian jewelers who arrived in Rio in 1845 and prospered during the imperial era. Today, Botafogo is known as one of the city's most vibrant and trendy neighborhoods, blending the nostalgia of tree-lined streets with a youthful, creative, and cosmopolitan atmosphere.
