5. In common areas, do not wear swimwear or without a shirt and do not make excessive noise.

6. The fine for non-compliance with the rules is R$2000 and the reservation will be canceled without refunds in case of non-compliance.

3. During COVID times, while virus control plans last, please wear masks in common areas and pay attention to specific rules, such as limiting the number of people in the elevator or crowding in common areas. Subject to a fine of R$ 2000 in case of non-compliance with this rule.

4. The reservation may be cancelled without refunds if the rules are not followed.

The Lençóis Maranhenses National Park (PNLM) covers the municipality of Barreirinhas and was created in June 1981. It covers an area of 155 thousand hectares, of which 90 thousand hectares of the park are made up of free white sand dunes and the seasonal rainwater lagoons.

Lagoa Azul and Lagoa Bonita are two of the largest lagoons, with their natural pools of crystal clear water. The park is composed of restinga areas, free dune fields and ocean coast, and is visited all year round by tourists from all over the world. Barreirinhas, the best known city in Lençóis Maranhenses, is located 250 km from São Luís - the capital of the state of Maranhão, and is the main base for those who wish to explore the region.

It offers good infrastructure, with several quality restaurants and local commerce. White sand dunes, incredible lagoons with crystal clear water, exuberant nature, boat rides on the Preguiça River, local cuisine and lots of excitement! All of this awaits you here in Barreirinhas!

By plane: The nearest airport to Barreirinhas is in São Luís (SLZ), approximately 250km. From São Luís, it will be necessary to take the road to Barreirinhas. The best option is to hire our exclusive transportation (additional cost). Just contact us and we will arrange it!
