LOCATION — EXPLORING IPANEMA

We're on Rua Bilhões de Carvalho, 480 — a charming, safe, sunny villa with a European vibe! Just a few steps from Ipanema Beach, Copacabana Beach, and next to General Osório subway station, you have easy access to the entire city.

A bit of Ipanema's history:

A noble and iconic neighborhood in Rio, Ipanema is the birthplace of bossa nova and the setting for songs immortalized worldwide. It was here, between Rua Vinícius de Moraes (formerly Montenegro) and Nascimento Silva, that Tom Jobim and Vinícius composed "Garota de Ipanema" — inspired by Helô Pinheiro, who walked by the beach with her stunning beauty.

Tom Jobim lived at Rua Nascimento Silva, 107, an address that became a verse in one of his most famous songs. And it was on the same street, at number 378, that Renato Russo lived between 1990 and 1996, a period during which he wrote significant albums like The Stonewall Celebration Concert and Equilíbrio Distante.

Ipanema is all this: ocean waves, urban art, a free spirit, and a musical history that pulsates on every corner. One of Rio's most vibrant neighborhoods — and one that will win you over.

OUR SPACE

Our house features 4 private rooms and 3 shared bathrooms. In the common areas, you’ll find a cozy living room with a dining table and sofas, a fully equipped kitchen, and a charming patio perfect for relaxing. All spaces are airy, the bathrooms are always clean, and there’s a dining area, a beer & beverage cooler (extra charge), and a workspace. It’s the perfect place to read a book, enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine, and connect with great people!

Our kitchen is shared, so if you enjoy cooking, feel free to use it anytime! If you’re in the mood, we can even organize a little crowdfunding meal and cook something fun and delicious together. But if you prefer a simple homemade dish, don’t worry — we have everything you need to prepare it with ease.

Rooms are divided into female and male areas for everyone’s comfort.

Our team is available every day of the week, 12 hours a day, always ready to assist you in the best way possible!

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT

Your check-in is in person, with keys and identification of all guests, ensuring everyone’s safety.

You’ll receive one key and a password for the main entrance (please keep the door locked at all times) and one key for your private locker.

Your reservation includes one single bed, neatly made and fresh. However, we can prepare it as a double bed if you prefer and have two reservations. We also offer female-only private suites and rooms for groups of friends or families. Just let us know your preferences, and we’ll take care of everything!

The house also features shared living areas, including a living room, kitchen, and patio. You can store your food in the refrigerator, and there are six bathrooms, always kept spotless by our housekeeper — who works every day, from Sunday to Sunday, to ensure everything stays clean and organized.
